Είναι σε μοναδική θέση. Με κήπο, παραθαλάσσια, υπάρχει ταβέρνα και μπαρ στην ίδια μικρή ακτή. Η θέα της θάλασσας είναι μοναδική. Ιδανικά για οικογένειες με μικρά παιδιά που δεν θέλουν να μετακινούνται! Απέχουν 15′ από το Αργοστόλι και 10′ από το αεροδρόμιο.

Listening to waves, bird songs, peace and quiet, gorgeous sea views, starry sky… all the above you can experience at this wonderful place. Special thank you to Malvina who tidied our room daily. We just returned from Kefalonia spending there 7nights, anywhere we ate food was not disappointing. Try local, small restaurants, especially Strofi at Myrtos. The north is magnificent, rent a car to explore.

Os estúdios (apartamentos) que compõem o complexo de hospedagem são extremamente simpáticos, bem cuidados, limpos e com uma vista maravilhosa. Existe uma pequena e linda praia atrás do hotel. Internet muito boa. Conta com utensílios de cozinha (mini geladeira e mini fogão) para preparo de sua própria refeição. Situado na parte sul da ilha, é uma opção para que vem ou quem vai de/para Zakynthos já que o ferry chega/sai de Pessada, onde fica a hospedagem. Roula (a proprietária) foi gentil e com e me concedeu um late checkout que me permitiu curtir as praias do ilha no nosso último dia antes do nosso vôo. Em resumo, ótima opção para quem não faz questão de hotel.

Io e mia moglie siamo stati una settimana a giugno in questo studios e ci siamo trovati benissimo,le camere sono pulite e confortevoli,vicinissime al mare e alle teverne,la proprietaria Roula è molto disponibile e gentile.

Это очень маленький семейный отель, где радушные хозяева стараются сделать жизнь гостей приятной: чистые уютные комнаты с удобной мебелью, маленькой кухней и кондиционером; множество приятных уголков возле дома: веранды, столики, кресла, гамаки, шезлонги под деревьями и на газонах. Под окном чистый песчаный пляж, неподалеку лесенка в море с каменного берега, на пляже есть раздевалка и душ, над пляжем – бар от отеля и таверна (которая в октябре уже не работала). Рядом нет магазина, для поездок по другим пляжам или в столицу лучше взять напрокат машину. Зато течет вода из родника у часовни, щебечут птицы, пахнут цветы, с дерева падают орехи, плещет волна в море, и никакой громкой музыки. А вот интернет работает хорошо. Прекрасное место для спокойного отдыха

We stayed here in the middle of August. Our studio was on the ground floor, tastefully decorated in blue and white and spotlessly clean. We had our own balcony and our own large patio, shaded by vines and with a hammock for total relaxation.
The sandy beach was a short walk down the hill. The beach is small but even in August we found a space without being cramped. Roula the owner is friendly and hospitable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great value! For swimming and snorkling, for going around the island or for just reading a pile of books in the lovely garden. Two little restaurants and a small quiet beach at crawling distance. Daily cleaning and loads of towels.
We have not seen any better and nicer place on the island (or any other greek island..??..).

My husband and I stayed here for a week in June with our 5 year old daughter and had a wonderful, relaxing holiday. The studios are spotlessly clean and the views are beautiful. The small beach is just at the end of the garden down a few steep steps/ slope and is perfect for toddlers as it is very calm and shallow. Roula and her mother are kind and welcoming and extremely hard working! We are keen to go back next year for longer! You do need a car to see the island, but it’s such a gorgeous place and small enough to see a lot of it so worth the hire. We did explore a bit but to be honest, Aloe studios are so perfect you just don’t want to leave.
Room Tip: All rooms have a sea view and some ground floor rooms have direct access to the gardens.

My title might sound a bit extreme but honestly after visiting all places in kefalonia, this small place above Agios Thomas beach was the best choice because:
1. Awesome little sandy beach below
2. Top view from our studio
3. Clean
4. Close to city center (10-15 mins)
5. Friendly environment from Mrs Roulla the owner.
6. Reasonable price
Will suggest it for sure.
“A slice of Kefalonian paradise”

There is nothing quite so relaxing than to fall asleep with the sound of gentle waves lapping at the shores of a quiet beach and that is the sound we could hear from our room at Aloe Studios which is situated just above St Thomas’ beach.
Our week long stay here was truly wonderful and we were made to feel so very welcome by the warm hospitality of owner Roula and her mother Johanna who were always at hand to make sure everything was ok and, for us, everything was more than ok.
Our studio was light, clean and airy with a well equipped kitchenette to make simple meals. It also had a balcony (with table and chairs) that overlooked immaculate gardens and the sea beyond.
The property has about 11 guest studios which makes it feel intimate and includes many areas in the surrounding gardens where you can find a quiet spot to read and relax if that is what you want or, Roula has a taverna about 3 minutes stroll away along the beach where you can have a drink or a meal and watch the sun set over the sea. It really is a slice of Kefalonian paradise!

Siamo stati ospiti nell’Aloe studios per una settimana. Roula e sua mamma Joanna sono fantastiche, molto cordiali e attente ad ogni necessità dei loro ospiti.
Il posto è meraviglioso, mare bellissimo, quiete e tranquillità. La luna piena che illuminava il mare su cui si affacciava il nostro balcone rimarrà nei nostri più bei ricordi.
Partire non è stato per niente facile, ma contiamo di tornare prima possibile….magari a settembre.

Sono tornata da appena quattro giorni da un soggiorno a Cefalonia presso l’Aloe Studio. Ero stata ospite di questa struttura gia’ due anni fa. Gli appartamenti si trovano nella piccola baia di Sant Thomas (località Karavados) praticamente esci di casa e sei con i piedi in acqua! Il mare è cristallino, degrada dolcemente ed è piacevolmente caldo. È un luogo magico per la pace e la tranquillità che si respirano. Di notte si può sentire lo sciabordio delle onde. È anche un buon punto dal quale raggiunge le più belle spiagge di Cefalonia: Mirtos, Petani, Antisamos. A pochi chilometri si trovano supermercati ben forniti, chi e’ in cerca di una vita notturna più vivace, potrà recarsi ad Argostoli o a Skala. Per i piu’ pigri, invece, ci sono due piccole taverne, direttamente sulla baia, nelle quali mangiare bene senza spendere una fortuna.Le proprietarie, Roula e mamma Ioanna, incarnano la vera ospitalità greca, prodigandosi in mille modi per rendere piacevole e indimenticabile il soggiorno dei propri ospiti. Considerato il particolare momento, mi sento di rassicurare tutti coloro che sono in partenza per la Grecia: almeno nelle isole, la crisi non si avverte affatto! Caldamente consigliato!

Wonderful, quiet, and remote place with a separate beach. Went for a quiet family vacation. Water was crystal clear and warm. Studios rooms very clean, owners amazingly friendly. Highly recommend visiting. We are all looking forward to returning to Aloe Studios.
“A little bit of paradise”

We, my wife and I and our one year old boy, stayed here for a week in a second floor apartment with breath taking views over the gardens, the small sandy beach and over the sea to Zakynthos. Whilst the two tavernas have a modest menu, the food is good, one cooks over charcoal, the other in a wood oven. The beach is clean and the sea is turquoise. The owners, Roula and her mother are very welcoming, our little one was a hit with the mother who works tirelessly to keep the place pristine from dawn till dusk. The little touches in the rooms, the lace cushions for example, make the place feel loved. We had a problem with the fridge, the next day we had a brand new one. The hotel up the road has a pool, if you want something different from the beach, but the food wasn’t great and the service was similar to something out of Fawlty Towers. All in all, if it’s tranquility and relaxation you are after, this is a place I would certainly recommend!!!!

This is the best place to spent any holiday: weather you want to go swimming and snorkling, or going around scootering Kefalonia, or just reading a pile of books. Beach and two restaurants at crawling distance. We have not seen any better place to stay!

I stayed in Aloe with my wife and 1 year old daugter. THe place is like paradise. 30 second walk to the beach, nice lifted plateau of great view to the sea. It is facing south, so you can easily see the Zakhynthos island. The owner Roula is the nicest person I met. She made us feel like we are at home. I highly recommend staying at Aloe. If I come to Kefalonia again, that would be the place to stay again.

That is my second time in Aloe studio, first alone and second time with my family, and to me and even for all my famyly is a paradise, I really think is hard find a place like aloe studio in any where . I dont wont to said more everybody need to see the place by them self rosella

Aloe è un\’isola all\’interno di un\’isola è un posto dove ci si dimentica di tutto e di tutti. La struttura è ben curata da uno staff eccezionale! La location è fantastica a due… Anzi ad un passo da un mare cristallino con sabbia fine. Il giudizio da parte di una famiglia di 4 persone è ECCELLENTE!
Aloe is an island within an island is a place where you forget about everything and everyone. The property is well maintained by an amazing staff! The location is fantastic situated almost on the beach with a crystal-clear sea.The judgment by a family of 4 people is EXCELLENT!

Truly a magical place. We loved it from the moment we entered the room with the most magnificent view we have ever seen. And further, there was a beautifully kept garden, two sandy beaches with the incredibly clean water just a few steps away, two tavernas and a bar next door. The owners made us feel like the very special guests. We enjoyed it so much, it was really difficult to leave. Highly recommended!

A wonderful place to spend holidays in peace. Proprietary very pretty friendly and always helpful. Clean room with a wonderful view of the sea. Going down to the sea on the left the Galini tavern with the owner Alexos offers traditional Greek dishes as well as much courtesy and sympathy.

Utterly magnificent. We had a wonderful week’s honeymoon in June and we will definitely return. As we exchanged greetings with a friendly Dutch guest, she observed: ‘Surely this is some kind of Paradise’.
Aloe Studios is situated 50 easy metres from the sea (perilous mountain goat route 30 metres) and the sandy family centred cove possesses two tavernas: one providing traditional Greek lunches (closed evenings); the other more cosmopolitan and open all day.
In the era of photoshop and estate agent’s wide angled lens, it is reassuring to know that the Aloe Studios website pictures are entirely accurate and do full justice to the quality of the apartments. The room was light, spacious and airy, with large double doors leading to a decent sized balcony with table and two chairs. The views are astonishingly beautiful from the South facing windows, with the island of Zakynthos and crystal clear water in a 180 degree arc. Gurgles of family group delight could be heard from the small sandy cove just out of sight. The strongly made 6ft bed (two mattresses on one frame) was perfect and the marble tiled floor gave a luxurious feel on bare feet. Furniture was classically elegant, with exotic drapes and subtle touches (lace, cushions, unusual lights) adding a special sense of ‘family’; the walls were immaculately painted and everything was spotlessly clean. Our room was cleaned to a very high standard each day by a delightfully smiling local woman and fresh sheets and pillowslips were provided mid week.
The small galley kitchen (one ring hot plate, sink with cupboard below) was entirely adequate for our breakfast/lunch preparation, and the tiled bathroom opposite (WC, basin, shower) was cosy without being cramped, and the valiantly idiosyncratic water supply would suddenly burst into life to provide a magnificent shower.
The Aloe building is cleverly designed to ensure privacy and comfort, retaining that unusual blend of intimacy and seclusion. We felt like privileged guests, allowed as much privacy as we wanted, with cotton covered hammocks, tables and chairs and stone benches discretely positioned for reading and relaxation. Rustling walnut trees and a family of swallows swooping in and out reinforced the feeling that this was a very special family home.
Roula Magoula, Aloe’s cultured and entirely sympathetic Kefalonian owner, speaks fluent English and answered all my tedious booking questions with enormous grace and generosity. Meeting Roula (and her hard working mother) in person confirmed that the Magoula family represent all that is best in the world of Greek hospitality, service and family enterprise. We look forward very much to meeting them again.
The airport is 20 minutes drive from Agios Thomas beach, although we got lost. Buy a decent map of the island beforehand if you want to drive. We hired an underpowered (budget) Chevrolet Matiz, from Greekstones, whose tyres squealed when cornering at 20pmh. Upgrade if you are driving far. Dedicated parking is available at Aloe Studios.
